As we researched, we noticed that many renowned semiconductor companies are self-sufficient in terms of water treatment facilities, which is really inspiring and beneficial for water efficiency for both end-user and sustainable environment in Singapore. However, we also perceived that valuable resource recovery hasn’t been implemented in most of the semiconductor facilities due to the large amounts of energy consumption and investment. Therefore, we’d like to discuss with the stakeholders in this industry to propose some promising and state-of the-art membrane-related technologies for this mission.
